The Feeling Connected Project is here to support, celebrate and inspire local action to improve social connection and reduce the impact of loneliness and isolation across Chesterfield and NE Derbyshire.
Our aim is to make it easier for local people to start and run informal groups, activities, events or projects that bring people together where they live.
We launched the Feeling Connected Organisers' Programme to do just that.
It's all free and includes easy-to-apply-for funding, free training as well as 1:1 mentoring and advice, tailored to individual needs.
And whether you're running a group or not, we believe everyone can play a valuable role in supporting local efforts to tackle loneliness.
If you've got experience to share, support to offer or simply want to learn more, we invite you to join us and be part of the growing, supportive network we call The Feeling Connected Family.
