Social Connectedness Development Worker

Derbyshire Voluntary Action’s pioneering project Feeling Connected is recruiting a Development Worker.

The role provides a range of support to community-based volunteer-led initiatives that bring people together. It’s a rich and varied role, working closely with inspiring people, helping them navigate the challenges of making a difference in their community.

The Development Worker takes the lead in creating a movement that reduces loneliness and isolation across Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire.

Salary: £25,031 FTE + 5% pension contribution

Term: 1 Year contract, with possibility to extend, subject to funding.

Hours: 22 hours per week

Location: Based in Chesterfield, working across NE Derbyshire, flexible and hybrid working available.

Closing Date: 10am, Wednesday June 11th.
