Feeling Connected Personal Support is a free service that supports people to connect with their community in NE Derbyshire.

Who Would Benefit from this Service?

Anyone who is mobile and desires more social engagement.

Anyone held back by anxieties, lack of confidence, recovering from illness, caring for a loved one, or generally feeling stuck.

Feeling Connected Personal Support is a free service delivered in NE Derbyshire by Derbyshire Voluntary Action. DVA.ORG.UK
Feeling Connected Personal Support has been commissioned by NE Derbyshire District Council and funded by the UKSPF Inclusive Communities Fund.


We help people connect with activities in their communities.
Joining in and making friends can have a significant positive impact on a person's health and wellbeing.

Referrals
We welcome referrals of individuals at risk of loneliness and isolation from Councillors, Health and Social Care professionals, and other key stakeholders.

We Work Directly with People

Taking the time to understand what's important to them.

Focusing on passions, interests, skills and hobbies.

Identifying any barriers and challenges.

We research opportunities for activities near by.

We accompany the person if needed.
